biography & introduce
Ms. Yuki is a legally trained professional with international academic and practical experience in law. Her legal journey began in Kuala Lumpur, where she laid her foundation at Brickfields Asia College (BAC) that took her to the United Kingdom.
She obtained her Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from the University of Hertfordshire during the challenging period of the COVID-19 lockdown. Driven by a passion for advocacy in law, she went on to complete the Bar Training Practice Course (BTPC) alongside a Master of Laws (LL.M) at Northumbria University, Newcastle.
In parallel with her legal studies, she undertook professional training in mediation and became an accredited mediator under the Society of Mediators, UK—demonstrating her commitment to alternative dispute resolution.
In July 2023, she was called to the Bar of England and Wales and admitted as a member of the Honourable Society of Middle Temple. With a well-rounded legal education and cross-jurisdictional insight, she brings a global perspective and strong analytical acumen to her legal practice.
In March 2024, she started her pupillage at our firm under the chamber of Dato’ Lawrence Chiong, the Managing Partner of the firm. During her pupillage, she was highly exposed to a wide range of law, which includes general litigation, family matters, corporate matters and conveyancing.
She was later admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in February 2025 and continued her career as Legal Associate at our firm in the same year.
She now looks forward to leveraging her international legal training to contribute meaningfully to the legal profession, both locally and globally.
