biography & introduce

Ms. Sangghamitra’s academic foundation in law was established with an LL.B from Aberystwyth University, where she explored niche electives such as Criminology and the Physiological Explanation of Criminal Behaviour. She later earned her Master of Laws (LL.M) from The University of Law, Birmingham, specialising in Welfare Benefits Appeals through Clinical Legal Education, where she successfully represented clients in tribunal proceedings. 

In July 2022, she completed the Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC) at the same institution and was subsequently called to the Bar of England and Wales and admitted as a member of The Honourable Society of Middle Temple.

She further honed her commercial and corporate legal skills during her pupillage at Messrs Zaid Ibrahim & Co (ZICO) under the mentorship of Ms. Lee Lily, where she was actively involved in due diligence exercises, IPO listings, mergers and acquisitions, and regulatory authorities on compliance and licensing matters. Following this, she was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in August 2023. 

Professionally, Ms Sangghamitra has gained practical experience both in Malaysia and Singapore. At Prestige Legal LLP (Singapore), she managed a variety of legal matters, including civil and Syariah law divorce proceedings, as well as general civil litigation. 

With a firm grounding in corporate, conveyancing and litigation practice, Ms Sangghamitra brings a balanced and diligent approach to legal problem-solving with a commitment to delivering clear, effective solutions. Her international academic background and cross-border experience make her a valuable asset to the firm’s multifaceted legal services.
