Being a partner in the firm, though relatively young in the field, we already see her as potential in leading our conveyancing department alongside with the partners.
In 2018, the firm needed her assistance to lead the litigation department when the firm realised that litigation cases were increasing from day to day. During her first three years of practice, she was exposed to litigation areas. As an advocate and solicitor, she is well-equipped to lead the litigation department and her team, as she has vast experience ranging from distress proceedings, writ of seizure and sale, and bankruptcy proceedings.
Even if she is currently focusing on litigation matters, she aims to excel in both areas of conveyancing and litigation practice and contribute to the expansion plan of the firm.
On 1 February 2022, Cik Yati was successfully appointed by Chief Justice of Federal Court Malaysia to practice as a Commissioner for Oath under the category of Advocates and Solicitors in Johor Bahru, Johor, Malaysia.
